She has produced, promoted and toured music concerts, and arts events with world-class artists Elton John, Mariah Carey, Tuck & Patti, Hamburg Ballet, Robert Wilson, Gidon Kremer, Berliner Barock Solisten (from Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra), Japan’s contemporary drumming group, Wadaiko Yamato, Indonesia’s gamelan fusion group Krakatau. Additionally, she has also staged government-to-government diplomatic festivals such as the Finnish Festival (Singapore and Finland), Hamburg Festival (Singapore and Germany), Contemporary Music Festival (with Taiwan government), and represented Machold Rare Violins in Asia, among many other projects. Shireen also speaks at International arts and cultural conferences in Australia, Singapore, Taipei and the United States. Shireen is also an external lecturer and course developer in arts and events management programmes both at the undergraduate, and postgraduate level in National University of Singapore, Lasalle College of the Arts, and Temasek Polytechnic. Of recent, Shireen was part of the pioneering team of the Institute on Asian Consumer Insight, (brain-child of EDB) headed by brand and marketing guru, Professional Bernd Schmitt (Columbia Business School). Shireen created and produced the Institute’s high profile business event in a joint venture partnership with the Financial Times known as the Asia Business Summit from 2012-2017.
