Jason Wong

Guardian

Mr. Jason Wong graduated with a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Western Australia under a Colombo Plan Scholarship. He had served in the Singapore civil service for 23 years, and held positions such as the Deputy Director/Chief of Staff of the Singapore Prison Service, Chief Executive Officer of SCORE (Singapore Corporation of Rehabilitative Enterprises), and Senior Director of Rehabilitation & Protection at the Ministry of Social and Family Development. In 2004, he initiated the Yellow Ribbon Project and chaired the Organising Committee for 2 years. In 2009, he helped conceive and launch the Dads for Life movement in Singapore. Mr Wong left the civil service in 2013, and currently volunteers his time as the Chairman of Focus on the Family, and a Director with Centre for Fathering. Mr Wong was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2002. He is married with 2 children, a girl aged 24 and a boy aged 19.
